We decided to sponsor two children, taking on the responsibility for their mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Upon returning in 2021, I witnessed the dire situation faced by orphans in Liberia, which compelled us to realize that more is needed to be done beyond sponsoring just two children. This led us to take action and work towards saving the lives of these vulnerable youngsters. Our organization was aptly named Village of Hope, reflecting our belief that every orphan longs to be a part of a caring family and supportive home. It feels truly fulfilling to see our dream of helping orphans turning into a reality.
